While Golden Beach is an ideal place to get away from the hustle & bustle... there are many activities for young and old. The area is a haven for wildlife with kangaroos, emus, wombats, possums, koalas and echidnas seen regularly when walking the nature trails.

and they have a great Facebook Page! |  Trinculo shipwreckTrinculo Shipwreck is on the beach, around 6½ km south-west of the Golden Beach town centre.
In 1879, a gale caused this cargo sailing ship to strike a sandbar just off the coast, forcing it ashore.
To visit the wreck, drive to the signposted car park on Shoreline Drive and then follow the shady track through the coastal vegetation and across the sand dunes to the beach where the wreck is. |
