Reservation & Cancellation Policy

  • Check in time is 2pm    (earlier by prior arrangement)

  • Check out time is 10am   (later by prior arrangement)

  • No smoking permitted inside the cabins (see charges below if this is broken)

  • Absolutely no drugs on the property, inside or outside.  This is a family location with two cabins on site.  

  • Dogs are not allowed on any furniture. Please bring your own dog bed.   If dog hair is found on furniture, an additional cleaning fee may be charged 

  • Published prices include linen for the double bed only.  Additional linen for the other beds incur a $30 charge per extra bed.  Feel free to BYO pillow, pillow case, sheets, and sleeping bag or blanket/doona - to avoid extra charges.

  • We ask that you keep the cabins and BBQ area clean, so that we can keep the cabin costs low.   We pay professional cleaners to attend after each guest.   Additional fees (see below) if additional cleaning is required (washing dishes, cleaning BBQ etc.)

  • We are happy to accept single night bookings, but this incurs a small surcharge.  Full payment is also required at time of booking.

  • Golden Beach Cabins are not liable for any personal items lost or stolen. It is recommended guests have insurance for such items.  We have a small safe inside each cabin and recommend that you place valuable items inside the safe when you are not present.

  • No more than 5 people permitted to stay in each cabin.
     

Additional fees & charges:

  • $10 surcharge for single night bookings

  • $30 for extra linen (for the sofa beds or single beds).  Feel free to BYO linen (at no extra charge) if extra beds are used.

  • $30 call out fee if caretaker needs to attend (eg: to open safe)

  • $10 cleaning fee if BBQ is used and not cleaned afterwards

  • $10 cleaning fee if dishes left dirty (there is a sink and all cleaning products made available)

  • $10 cleaning fee if dog hair on furniture, or faeces inside or outside the cabins.

  • $50 charge if someone has smoked inside the cabins

  • $50 charge for lost keys

  • Replacement cost for anything is broken, damaged or removed from cabins

 

Payment Policy

  • Single night bookings:   full payment at time of booking  (regardless of when booked)

  • Booking within 1 month of check-in :   full payment at time of booking

  • Booking more than 1 month from check-in:  20% at time of booking, 80% balance 4 weeks prior to check-in

  • Payment by:   Credit card (Visa or Mastercard), Bank deposit or Paypal

 

Cancellation charges:

  • If you cancel 30+ days from your stay - 100% refund of money paid

  • If you cancel 15 - 29 days from your stay - 90% refund (of the total cost)

  • If you cancel 8 - 14 days from your stay - 80% refund (of the total cost)

  • If you cancel 2 - 7 days of your stay - 50% refund (of the total cost)

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of stay - there will be no refund or credit
